Working Together for the Simplon Alpine Dairy

The alpine dairy in Simplon Dorf has been in operation for 143 years. Now a new era is beginning—the alpine dairy cooperative is planning to build a new facility.
This 6.5-million-franc project cannot be financed on its own. That’s where the Coop Sponsorship Program for Mountain Regions comes in: By purchasing “1 August” rolls, breadsticks, and cervelat rings, Coop customers support the construction of the new Simplon Dorf Alpine Dairy. That’s because a portion of the purchase price goes to the sponsorship program, and Coop also doubles the proceeds to benefit the Simplon Dorf Alpine Dairy.
