The international driving licence is a "translation" of your national licence and is therefore only valid together with it. You must therefore always be able to produce both.
Before starting your journey, find out whether an international driving licence is mandatory at your destination or whether the car rental company may require an international driving licence. You can find an overview of the countries here.

The international driving licence will be issued and sent to you within three working days. No liability is assumed for the dispatch. We therefore recommend that you send the documents by registered post to the following address.

The visitor's tax is levied on guests staying overnight in the Brig Simplon Tourismus AG catchment area. Upon payment of the visitor's tax, guests receive a guest card from the landlord.
At the tourist office of Brig-Simplon Tourism, you will find souvenirs and products made by local artisans.

With the association bus, Simplon Tourism has responded to the need for greater flexibility when doing activities in the mountains. Hotels and other businesses can drive guests to the starting points for hikes and ski tours, or pick them up afterwards.
