In addition, service providers are supported in their endeavours towards the comprehensive, sustainable development of Swiss tourism.

Participation in the programme is open to all tourism businesses and organisations.

myclimate “Cause We Care”

Get involved! Together for environmental and climate protection. The careful use of resources to protect the environment is important to us. As part of the myclimate "Cause We Care" initiative, we give you the opportunity to make an effective contribution to environmental and climate protection together with us by making a voluntary contribution. Every time you book an offer, you can voluntarily support our chosen climate protection measure.

In return, we promise to double your contribution. Part of the sum will be used to support carbon offset projects run by the myclimate foundation. We have chosen the raised bog restoration project in Sous-Martel-Dernier (NE). Through the myclimate foundation, part of this carbon offset financing is channelled into the restoration of the raised bogs in Sous-Martel-Dernier (NE), thereby helping to reduce CO₂ emissions. The remaining amount is invested by us locally, such as organising raised bog tours on the Simplon Pass to raise awareness among visitors.

When booking via the Brig Simplon web shop, guests have the option of paying 1% of the booking amount in favour of ‘Cause We Care’. Brig Simplon doubles this contribution. A total of CHF 2,512.85 was transferred to the ‘Raised bog restoration in Sous-Martel-Dernier (NE)’ project in 2024.
