The Stockalper Trail is an amazing experience in which the ascent can be comfortably overcome by Post Bus. There are a number of varied trails on both sides of the Simplon.

The trail leads from the Rosswald mountain station over a sunny mountain ridge with a view of the Rhône Valley to the bottom station of the cable car. The descent continues for 800 metres.

The varied Saflisch Trail leads from the Binntal valley over the sunny ridge of the Rosswald with far-reaching views over the Rhone valley to the Alpine town of Brig.

The Simplon Pass connects the canton of Valais with Domodossola in Italy. The pass is the starting point for many activities and is praised as one of the most beautiful Alpine crossings.

The varied bike trail leads from Rosswald over an appealing and slightly challenging descent into the Gantertal valley. The trail ends at the valley station of the mountain railway.

Starting in Brig, the Brigerberg Loop leads via the communities of Termen and Ried-Brig, where sweeping views over the Rhone Valley await, back to the Alpine town of Brig.
