Brig and the surrounding regions are well connected by the public transport system. You can find all the important information about travelling by train at SBB. Whether you're travelling by mountain bike or e-bike, it's possible to transport your bike.

Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (MGB): It is possible to take bikes on the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn trains. You can simply take your bike with you on the MGB, but a ticket is required for transport. You can find more information on the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway website.

Postbus: Bicycles can also be transported on the Postbuses around Brig. The obligation to reserve a bike space applies. You can find details on transporting and reserving bikes on the Postbus website. You can reserve a bike transport space conveniently via the SBB app, SBB webshop or at a ticket counter. CHF 2.00 (in addition to the bike ticket or travelcard) is due per reservation. This amount is valid for an entire journey, for example from Bern to Simplon by train and Postbus.

Mountain railways: Many mountain railways around Brig also offer bike transport. You can easily take your mountain bike or e-bike on the cable cars or gondolas to get to the best trails quickly.
