The Brig-Glis children's carnival parade takes place on "Feiste Donnschtag". Organised by the Bäjizunft Glis-Gamsen-Brigerbad and the Türkenbund Brig-Mekka.
The carnival parade starts at Garage Gesell and ends on the village square in Glis. The three categories "small group", "medium group" and "large group" are judged by the jury according to topicality, presentation and behaviour.
The children's parade starts at 2.00 pm, the prize-giving ceremony is at around 3.30 pm on the village square in Glis. Each child will receive a Fünflieber (CHF 5) as entry fee and at the end of the parade there will be Wienerli with bread and tea.
The Türkenbund and the Bäjizunft are looking forward to welcoming as many children as possible to the children's parade.
