Great Upper Valais carnival parade

Guggenmusik from near and far, various floats and foot groups ensure an entertaining afternoon.

The Great Upper Valais Carnival Parade takes place in Naters.

Thanks to the good cooperation between the Türkenbund, Drachentöter and Bäjizunft, the Great Upper Valais Carnival Parade has been taking place every three years in Brig, Glis or Naters since 1973.

The Upper Valais Carnival badge is issued by the carnival society responsible for organising the Great Upper Valais Carnival Parade. The carnival badge entitles the holder to free entry to the Great Upper Valais Carnival Parade.
