Enjoy a unique trail running experience on the Stockalperweg between Valais and Italy.
A varied landscape and breathtaking views await you. The Stockalperweg is one of the most famous cultural trails in Switzerland. The sections of the trail are lined with numerous magnificent buildings from bygone times of trade and muleteering.
You start in the old town of Brig, run into the picturesque Simplon village, cross the border into Italy and finally reach your destination in Domodossola. For the trail running offer, we also recommend several routes between the stages for an additional challenge. Choose the route that's right for you, whether you're a summiteer or a beginner - there's something for everyone.

Day 1: Arrival in BrigDay 2: Brig - Simplon village
Day 3: Simplon village - Bognanco
Day 4: Bognanco - Domodossola
Day 5: Departure from Domodossola

We will send you some of the documents such as the hiking map, flyer and PostBus timetable in advance by post with your booking confirmation. You will receive the Stockalperkit with vouchers for the hotels, a small souvenir and further information about the Stockalperweg at the hotel reception on the day of arrival.
The hike is at your own risk. Insurance is the responsibility of the hiker.
