The AGO is an association for astro-amateurs from the Upper Valais. The aim is to establish friendly and scientific relations. The AGO promotes the observing activities as well as the dissemination of knowledge about astronomy and related fields of knowledge of its members. Furthermore, astronomy enthusiasts shall be addressed and enthused at public observing evenings and special celestial events.

Public transportation: The “Simplon, Monte Leone” bus stop is located in the immediate vicinity. From Brig train station, you can reach the observatory in about 45 minutes.
