The English Greeting Chapel near Brig-Glis was built in 1647 and is located slightly away from the village. It depicts the biblical scene of the "English Greeting", in which the angel Gabriel announces the birth of Jesus to Mary. The small chapel with its simple but atmospheric interior invites you to linger and reflect. It is particularly appreciated for its historical significance and its peaceful location in the middle of the Valais landscape. A quiet place with a lot of history.
