The Wasenalp fireplace is located next to a large boulder. There are two fireplaces with grills and two large wooden tables with benches. The two fireplaces and tables are about 100 metres apart.

The fireplaces cannot be reserved. So that nothing stands in the way of barbecue fun, be on site in good time.
Directions & Parking facilities
Take the car or the PostBus from Brig to the Rothwald, Schutzhaus stop. Parking spaces are available here. Now follow the hiking trail up towards Wasenalp in the direction of "Wintrigmatta". At the junction "Wintrigmatta" and "Bärufalle", turn right until the fireplace is in sight. The hike from the shelter to the fireplace takes about 45 minutes.
