The path leads from the former Luftkurot Berisal up to Wasenalp and Rothwald. Hike from Rothwald in the direction of Bortelhütte and turn right after around 10 minutes. The path now climbs around 500 meters in altitude. You will reach the hamlet of “Schrickbodo”. Now follow the Alpenpässeweg trail no. 6 towards Wasenalp. The leisurely descent to Rothwald is only a stone's throw away.
