The circular hike starts in Brigerbad, village. After an ascent, the pilgrimage chapel Maria in Gstein is reached. This chapel is a popular pilgrimage site for the Upper Valais residents and is suitable for a short break. Along the hiking trail, the train station in Lalden is reached, and via the Lötschberger southern ramp, you return to the starting point of the hike.
The hike lies on the sunny slope and can therefore be undertaken as early as spring.
