Starting from the train station in Brig, the Brigerberg Loop first leads through Bahnhofstrasse and further into the Burgschaft. Then follows the ascent along the old Simplon road towards Lingwurm to Ried-Brig. Following the forest road, you reach Riederwald (old Simplon Pass road). Along the former Basweri irrigation channel, the trail offers a first highlight. It continues via Burgspitz up to Termen. A final ascent following the forest road leads to z'Gartu.
