Starting from Brig, the Brigerberg Loop leads through the municipalities of Ried-Brig and Termen, where a wide view over the Rhone Valley awaits, returning again to the Alpine town of Brig.

Starting from the train station in Brig, the Brigerberg Loop first leads through Bahnhofstrasse and further into the Burgschaft. Then follows the ascent along the old Simplon road towards Lingwurm to Ried-Brig. Following the forest road, you reach Riederwald (old Simplon Pass road). Along the former Basweri irrigation channel, the trail offers a first highlight. It continues via Burgspitz up to Termen. A final ascent following the forest road leads to z'Gartu. Now the trail leads back to Termen and into the Alpine town of Brig.
