The start of the route is at Hotel Simplonblick on Simplon Pass. A few meters along the Stockalperweg, the path turns left in front of the house. Passing the Hopsche peat bog and alpine huts, the Hopschusee is reached. Enjoy a short break on one of the wooden benches by the lake shore. After a short detour to Stalde, you hike towards the national road. During the ascent, the Simplon Eagle appears and later the Hospiz comes into your view. You will return to the starting point.
