Challenging hike to Corwetsch with rewarding views of Gondo and the Gondo Gorge.

The hike starts at Ramserna, the large S-bend in the road before Gondo. The path to Presa Cima offers a unique view of Gondo. Upon reaching the huts at Presa Cima, you should take another drink break before tackling the strenuous ascent to Corwetsch. As a reward, a further spectacular view of the Gondo Gorge awaits at Gise, the highest point of the hike. Afterwards, the descent begins to the charming Alp "Alpje". Past contented cows and charming houses, the path follows a small road down to the Alte Kaserne.

Directions & Parking facilities

Take the PostBus to the Ramserna stop. Or by private car to Gondo.

There are parking spaces in Gondo and at the Alte Kaserne in the Gondo Gorge.

The start and end point of the hike can be reached by PostBus from Brig.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

Alpje is well suited for a lunch break. The Alte Kaserne in the Gondo Gorge can be visited daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
