This hike starts at Ramserna, the big S-road bend before Gondo. The path to Presa Cima offers a unique view over Gondo.When you reach the Presa Cima huts, you should treat yourself to another refreshment before starting the demanding climb to Gise (Corwetsch). The reward is another spectacular view of the canyon "Gondoschlucht" in Gise. Then the descent begins to the charming alp "Alpje". Past the happy cows and the delightful houses, the trail leads along the small road to Alte Kaserna.

Directions & Parking facilities
By post bus to the Ramserna stop. Or by private car to Gondo.
Parking is available in Gondo and at the Alte Kaserne in the Gondo Gorge.
The start and end points of the hike can be reached by post bus from Brig.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
Alpje is a good place for a lunch break. The Old Barracks "Alte Kaserne" can be visited daily from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
