Technical enduro classic with lots of flow, lots of roots – and a good amount of altitude difference. For anyone who prefers it raw.

From Riederalp, you set off at a leisurely pace through the car-free mountain village. Then you switch up a gear: the Riederalp Enduro Trail plunges directly into the mountain forest – marked in red, natural, and requiring a good deal of grip.

The first section is steep and winding through rooty passages – exactly what enduro fans love. In the middle you enter Goppisberg: historic village centre, option of a brief stop (self-service restaurant with snacks).

Then you cross the mountainside towards Greich, where a longer section on gravel roads awaits you – good to catch your breath before things get serious again on the Riederalp Enduro Trail.

From the Schwäristadel it’s back to the trails: narrow, technical, rocky – sheer skill counts here. After the Quartier Breite, you roll on asphalt for the last few metres into Mörel – then let the cable car whisk you up to the next trail in the Aletsch Arena.

Highlights:

  • Enjoyable 100% natural trail in the mountain forest of the Aletsch Arena
  • Root carpets and rocky lines alternate
  • Refreshment stop in Goppisberg
  • Enduro Trail with plenty of downhill without artificial elements

Trail signposting: Follow the red signposts with the white biker symbol and the black sticker with the abbreviation RIT – this stands for Riederalp Enduro Trail.

Please note: At the start of the trail and when transitioning between different difficulty levels, the difficulty level of the next section is displayed.

Important: Respect for hikers and nature in the Aletsch Arena – ride with a generous attitude.
