This hiking path leads more leisurely from Rosswald to the valley station than the 36er route. Over the sunny ridge, you reach Resti and Schallberg.

An attractive hike along the sunny ridge of the Alpe Rosswald towards the valley station in Ried-Brig. The hiking path leads you to the hamlet of Resti and further down to Schallberg. Here you turn onto the Stockalperweg, the historic mule track of Kaspar Stockalper. After about 30 minutes, turn right towards the valley station of the Rosswald cable cars.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

At the Waldesrand restaurant near the valley station of the Rosswald cable cars, there are not only (probably the best) cheese slices but also fine cordon bleus.
