Ascent
Simplon Pass – From Simplon Pass at 2,005 m, head west across the plains past the hamlet of Hopsche. At around 2,200 m, turn right towards the northwest and continue up the ramp of the Gälmji to the pass. The summit is reached via the west ridge.
