A very well-prepared sledding run about eight kilometers long leads down from Rosswald to Ried-Brig. But the experience already begins when getting off the gondola that takes you to the starting point: From Rosswald, you have a beautiful and wide view over the upper Rhone Valley. The sledding path overcomes 783 meters of elevation from start to finish and offers varied curves as well as more leisurely sections. The start is directly below the mountain station of the Rosswald cable cars and ends near the valley station in Ried-Brig. Along the way, athletes encounter a lot of variety. At the beginning, there are a few faster sections to pass through; in the second part of the route, the pace becomes a bit more leisurely, and the path wider. Through snow-covered coniferous forests, you finally reach the valley station in Ried-Brig. By the way, you can comfortably get there by postal bus, which regularly runs from Brig station to the valley station of the gondola. Ready, set, go on your sled!
Important: Always check the current status in advance on the Rosswald cable cars website. Short-term status changes due to weather conditions are reserved.
