Ascent
Simplon Pass – From the Simplon Hospice or Kulm follow the line to the mountain station of the former ski lift. Then continue diagonally along the pleasant northwest slopes heading east to the large, striking black rock "Panettone" at around 2,380 m. The Panettone clearly stands out from the northwest ridge of the Hübschhorn and is marked with a small cross.

Ski tourers feel at home on the Simplon. Spend the night in one of the hotels on the pass or in the village and enjoy a few more tour days in the region.
