This short route leads from the Simplon Hospice to the foot of the Hübschhorn. A large, striking stone – the so-called "Panettone" – protrudes clearly from the northwest ridge and marks the destination of the route.

Ascent

Simplon Pass – From the Simplon Hospice or Kulm follow the line to the mountain station of the former ski lift. Then continue diagonally along the pleasant northwest slopes heading east to the large, striking black rock "Panettone" at around 2,380 m. The Panettone clearly stands out from the northwest ridge of the Hübschhorn and is marked with a small cross.

Descent

Simplon Pass – The descent follows the ascent track.
