Experience the fascination of snowshoeing in the beautiful winter world in Rothwald, where you can glide through deeply snow-covered and pristine winter landscapes.

This snowshoe trail leads from the Hotel Ganterwald along the marked trail to the "Obru Egge". From here, it goes uphill over the Hackber to the mountain inn Wasenalp. Afterwards, you hike along the prepared Wasmerstrasse (piste) down into the "Obru Rothwald" and further into the "Undru Rothwald" up to the valley station Skilifte Rothwald. Finally, you return to the starting point via the sidewalk of the national road.

As a winter hike without snowshoes, the stretch from the Rothwald Post bus stop (at the valley station of the ski lift) to the mountain inn Wasenalp is very popular. This stretch is groomed and open for multi-use during the ski season. Estimated time about 45 minutes.
