On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the 3rd Brigerbad Run&Trail will take place in Brigerbad and herald the start of the Upper Valais running season. The proven and popular 10.8km Brigerbad Run will be held on the same route for the 3rd time this year and is part of the Upper Valais Running Cup. In addition to the flat section along the Rotten and the section through Lalden&Brigerbad, the course also includes a short ascent and descent of around 200m via Lalden railroad station and the Lötschberger south ramp. The route is easy and suitable for everyone.
The attractive kids' routes from 2025 have proven their worth and will be repeated in 2026 on these circuits around the Brigerbad thermal baths campsite. There is now also an ELKI category for the very youngest and the course is 400m long.
For the 2026 event, there is a major innovation in the program and for the trail runners there is an extremely attractive & varied route (21km/1200HM) This route goes along the famous Lötschberger south ramp, passing through the villages of Naters, Birgisch & Mund. The majority of this circuit takes place on the sun-drenched southern slope above Brigerbad. The route will make trail runners' hearts beat faster and the panorama will certainly not disappoint anyone!
