On Rose Monday, when the Türkenbund has sent its camel into the desert and the dragon slayers have already chased their dragon away again, the Bäjizunft strikes once more. The masquerade is a popular event for all Maschgini and also for those who like to see beautiful Maschgini.
The Maschgini have to present themselves to the jury in the various Glis restaurants between 7.00 pm and 11.00 pm. The jury judges on topicality, presentation and behaviour. Registration is not necessary; starting numbers can be obtained from 6.45 pm in the Diana and Malteserkreuz restaurants. This means that nothing stands in the way of spontaneous participation.
At midnight, the prize-giving ceremony takes place on the village square in Glis. The Glis carnival comes to an end with the last carnival sounds of the Guggenmusik Caballeros and a long night of fun.
