The Mother of God Church on Glisacker is a place of pilgrimage.
The church has been expanded several times over the centuries. This is why you will find various architectural styles in the pilgrimage church. The great Kaspar Stockalper also contributed to the church. He commissioned the Bodmer brothers to build the Baroque basilica. Since then, several renovations have been carried out.
