The adventure trail Rail - Nature - Art starts and ends at Brig train station. It is accessible from April to the end of October; signposted with brown signs "Adventure Trail Rail - Nature - Art." Along the way, over 50 panels provide interesting information about the railway and its history. The information panels of the forest adventure trail "Rafji," the nature trail "Achera-Biela," and the mountain agriculture adventure trail Termen provide information about trees, shrubs, and flowers. Along the way, sights make the heart of every rail, nature, and art lover beat faster. The pure walking time over the 12 km long adventure trail is about 3 hours; with the 5 km additional loop of the nature trail "Achera-Biela" and the mountain agriculture adventure trail Ried-Brig – Termen about one to two hours more. The adventure trail is easy to walk, but good footwear is advantageous.

The construction of the Simplon Tunnel and the three railways - namely the Swiss Federal Railways, the BLS Lötschbergbahn, and the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn - have strongly shaped the history of the region. From Brig train station, the adventure trail leads to the north portal of the 19.8 km long Simplon Tunnel, which connects Italy with Switzerland. It continues to Bitsch and over the Hennebique Canal back to the Massaboden hydropower plant. Along the adventure trail, you encounter several sculptures and statues by the artist Edelbert W. Bregy with corresponding explanations. Via Naters, you return to Brig train station.
