A final visit to Stockalperschloss and one of the restaurants in Brig and your route can begin. Soon you will be surrounded by bushes and nearby corn and maize fields. You hardly notice the motorway, train and industry because the Rhone Route is "noise-protected" on the opposite side. In a short time, you reach Brigerbad, where the largest outdoor and thermal bath in the Alps is located. From Brigerbad, the route continues via Lalden and Baltschieder to Raron. Not only fans of German literature can look forward to the "Rilke village": it is a beautiful spot and nicely dressed up.
From Raron, it goes on to Leuk, from here you are surrounded by vineyards. Soon Sierre is reached - Sierre was called the "city of a hundred hills" by the Romans.
