- Start: Fiescheralp, mountain station of the cable car
- Destination: Fiesch, ÖV-Hub
The starting point of this stage is the mountain station of the cable car on the Fiescheralp. It begins leisurely on the wide natural path heading west to the Bettmerhütte. Just before the Bettmerhütte, you turn left onto the single trail. Before the descent can start, you will encounter a short climb. On the descent towards Martisberg, behind the Wurzenbord, you will already experience seclusion and impressive nature. Above Martisberg, you gain some altitude on the asphalt road before you can turn back onto the trail at a bend. Here it becomes technical again and a bit steeper. After Martisberg, an easy trail through the Deischwald forest awaits you down to the valley floor. You bike above the main road to Lax and there complete another climb, which brings you to a beautiful trail back to Fiesch to the ÖV-Hub.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
You can also bypass the most difficult section above Martisberg on the road. If you want to save yourself the climb in Lax, you can also take the train directly back to Fiesch. With the Aletsch Bikepass you can move unrestrictedly in the Aletsch Arena. The train route from Brig to Frutigen is included.
Safety guidelines

Hikers generally have the right of way. Accurately assess your own skills and fitness. Riding the different routes is always at your own risk.
