The small Brusee lies secludedly embedded in the wild romantic mountain landscape of the Obergoms. After the ascent from Biel/Bienne, which is rich in elevation meters, treat yourself to an extensive rest at the cool Brusee before you continue on your way. Passing the stony Honeggerhorn you will reach the middle lake and further downhill to the beautiful Spilsee. Via the popular panorama path you finally reach the mountain station Flesche / Bellwald.

Directions & Parking facilities

From Brig follow cantonal road No 19 (Furkastrasse) for 26 km to Biel.

The Goms valley is also easily accessible from direction Zurich / Lucerne via Andermatt – car transport Furka www.matterhorngotthardbahn.ch.

 

Public parking spaces are available in the village of Biel. Follow the local parking guidance system.
The regional trains of the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway take you from Brig to Biel in 58 min. The Goms valley is also easily accessible from the Zurich / Lucerne via Andermatt and the Furka base tunnel.
