Zug – Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB)
You can transport bicycles and e-bikes on many Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn routes. A separate bike ticket is required. All the details about timetables and terms can be found on the MGBahn website.
Postbus – transport your bike with a reservation
You can take your bike with you on the Postbuses around Brig – but only if you reserve a seat in advance. Reservations can easily be made via the SBB app, online or at a counter and cost CHF 2 per route, in addition to the regular bike ticket or season ticket.
Mountain railways – get to the trails quickly
Many cable cars in the area allow you to take bikes with you – ideal for a quick altitude boost so you can start your adventure with a descent. Check the relevant mountain railway’s website to find out about season dates and conditions of carriage in advance.
