- Start: Zwischbergen, Bord
- Destination: Simplon, Gabi
The hike starts in the Zwischbergental, Bord. The ascent towards Furggu follows the Stockalperweg. The route is well signposted and you follow the brown signposts «Stockalperweg».
Upon reaching Furggu, turn right towards Seehorn. The hiking trail is very well marked. Through the Seehaltu forest, you ascend to the Seetole. Here is a small lake. Now the southwest flank of the Seehorn is clearly visible. With the goal in sight, you hike towards Seehorn. The hike is also easily doable for those who are not afraid of heights. At the summit of Seehorn, you find large meadows. If you are dizzy, you should simply not stand too close to the edge.
At the top, you discover the radio mast with helicopter landing pad. Majestically, the Seehorn towers above the deep Gondo Gorge at 2439 meters above sea level. The view is overwhelming. You can spot Zwischbergental, Laggintal, Gondo Gorge, Alpjen, Simplon Village, and many other hamlets.
