- Start: Bettmeralp, cable car mountain station
- Destination: Bettmeralp, cable car mountain station
From the Bettmeralp cable car mountain station, walk eastwards past the Chapel Maria zum Schnee and typical Valais chalets, through the village and up to Bettmersee. The gently ascending path to the idyllic mountain lake takes about 15 minutes. Bettmersee is a particularly beautiful spot on the sun plateau, which you can circle on the stroller-friendly hiking trail. The leisure offerings are also impressive: Benches invite you to relax, have a picnic, or sunbathe. Refresh yourself with a dip in the cool water. Boat rental is open daily from mid-June to mid-October in good weather. Experience a round with a rowing or pedal boat! The adventurous can try stand-up paddling. There is also a natural paddling pool for children, a beach volleyball court, and a fire pit.
