The Simplon Pass is a historic pass that has not lost its importance since the 17th century as the most important trade route between Switzerland and Italy. On the way, you will see various vantage points with majestic mountain peaks. The Simplon Eagle, a symbol of vigilance, was created to commemorate the " Guard on the Simplon " during the Second World War.
