Gspon is conveniently reachable in a few minutes by cable car from Stalden. From the mountain station, a beautiful trail leads through the natural forest reserve Sädolwald to Gibidumpass. There, on a high plateau, an impressive view opens up of the Valais and Bernese Alps. Close by, Gibidumsee invites you to take a break in the unique mountain world. From Gibidumpass, a steep but still flowing all-mountain trail leads into the wild Nanztal. In the valley, the trail passes the beautiful Alp Nidristi to Schratt, where a wooden fountain offers a refill for your water bottle. Then it continues towards Brig-Glis on a top-class trail that, after an initial technical section, is smooth and fast to ride. Brig-Glis offers many opportunities for a well-deserved gastronomic conclusion to an active day. Thanks to optimal public transport connections, you can take on further bike rides from here.
