A very well-prepared toboggan run about eight kilometers long leads down from Rosswald to Ried-Brig. But the experience already begins when getting off the gondola that takes you to the starting point: From Rosswald, you have a beautiful and wide view of the upper Rhone Valley. The toboggan run overcomes 791 meters of altitude from start to finish and offers both varied curves and more leisurely sections. The start is directly below the mountain station of the Rosswald cable cars and ends near the valley station in Ried-Brig. Along the way, athletes are offered a lot of variety. At the beginning, there are a few faster sections to pass, and in the second part of the route, the pace slows down a bit and the track becomes wider. You finally reach the valley station in Ried-Brig through snow-covered coniferous forests. By the way, you can easily get there by post bus, which runs regularly from Brig station to the valley station of the gondola. On your marks, get set, go! Important: Always check the current status in advance on the Rosswald cable cars website. Short-term adjustments of the status due to weather conditions are reserved.
