SFT: Cingino - Almagelleralp

2nd stage: You ascend via the old mule track the „Strada Antronesca“ to the Saaspass. This path was in the past the connection between Villadossola and Saas Almagell. At the pass, where you can still find the remains of an old inn, there is a panoramic view over the 4000 m peaks of the Saas valley. The route then leads down into the valley to Furggstalden, slightly above Saas Almagell. You can also reach Furggstalden from the pass via a new panoramic trail that leads to a chairlift (Heidbodme), which goes down to the village. From Furggstalden, you reach the stage destination Almagelleralp via a secured path.
