The Simplon Pass is a historic mountain pass that has remained the main trade route between Switzerland and Italy since the 17th century. Along the way, you will see various viewpoints with majestic mountain peaks. The Simplon Eagle, as a symbol of vigilance, was erected in memory of the "Watch at the Simplon" during World War II.
