You can easily reach Rosswald by public transport. Take the post bus from Brig railway station to Rosswald, valley station and then take the cable car to Rosswald.

The winter conditions and protected areas of the animals are predominantly in the forest. In order to keep the animals quiet, you have to follow the path markings. Information boards at the respective starting points of the trails and at the necessary places point out this problem. In cooperation with the Wildhut and the forest managers, the listed trails have been classified as being game and forest friendly. The snowshoe walkers are asked not to leave the marked trails - for their safety and to protect the animals in the forest. This route is only accessible when the piste is open!

The trails are marked with wooden poles, which have a purple coating. In addition, reflective light bands are attached. We ask you to follow the marked routes in the interest of our forest and wildlife. Waste should be put back in your backpack.
