Tourist tax

The tourist tax has existed for almost a century in most of the touristic communes. Collected by the landlords, property owners and the tourist office, it is paid back in full to the local authorities who use it entirely for costs linked to improving welcoming you here: the running of the tourist office and the use of information services, the organisation of events, entertainment and activities, the maintenance of public spaces and footpaths and also the improvement of infrastructure, sport and leisure equipment.
