One of the essential requirements for the production of Molinari Sempione ham is that the entire process takes place in a narrowly defined area, namely on the south side of the Simplon.

This is how the scents and flavours of an exuberant landscape were preserved and the Simplon area in Valais was chosen as the production and maturation site for Molinari Sempione. The quality and selection of the pork has been subjected to the strictest criteria and it is made exclusively from Swiss meat.    

The wind blows through the alpine herbs as well as the larch and fir forests around the area where generally Molinari Sempione has its production. This creates a spicy and dry air that is ideal for the maturation of Molinari Sempione's products.

Also an excellent product of Molinari Sempione are the salami, coppa and the bacon made in the Italian way .
