The Simplon Adler circular trail on the Simplon Pass offers you a beautiful panorama of the surrounding mountains on the Simplon Pass. The trail starts and ends on the Simplon Pass and is ideal for stretching your feet during a short rest on the pass. The Simplon Pass is a historic pass that has not lost its importance since the 17th century as the most important trade route between Switzerland and Italy. On the way, you will see various vantage points with majestic mountain peaks. The Simplon Eagle, a symbol of vigilance, was created to commemorate the " Guard on the Simplon " during the Second World War.

Experience the untouched landscape of the Simplon Pass on foot - in winter. The historic Alpine crossing is open and accessible even in the cold season. The winter hiking trail is designed as a circular hike and starts at the top of the pass at 1992 metres above sea level.
