One last visit to Stockalper Castle and one of the restaurants in Brig and your tour can begin. Soon you are surrounded by bushes and nearby corn and corn fields. You don't notice much of the highway, train and industry because the Rhone Route is "noise-protected" on the opposite side. In a short time you can reach Brigerbad, where you will find the largest open-air and thermal baths in the Alps. From Brigerbad the route continues via Lalden and Baltschieder to Raron. It's not just friends of German literature who can look forward to the "Rilkedorf": It's a beautiful spot and nicely decorated. From Raron we continue to Leuk, from here we're surrounded by vineyards. Sierre is soon reached - the Romans called Sierre "the city of a hundred hills".
