Starting and finishing in Engiloch, the circular route leads through "d Heg" to the "Zurwerra-Stafel". The actual circular route begins at the Chrummbach bridge. We cross the footbridge and come up to Stafel Chlusmatte. There is the hut where, by prior arrangement, a delicious alpine brunch is offered. Next, we continue to the two lonely huts at the foot of the steep hillside, always along the stone walls that separate private property from the commons. After crossing the Ritzibach, we pass through sand, forest, and pastures towards Zuckermatta and walk over the narrow Chrummbach bridge. We have already reached the northernmost point.
On the way back, we walk along the field road to Stafel Nideralpe and further on the historic Stockalperweg back to the starting point.
