Ascent
Gabi - Post bus stop or parking opposite the hotel on the right bank of the Chrummbach - start is at the hotel. On the left Lagginaufer it goes to the second bridge, which you cross to the Gsteihuis. Left of the building, you climb the steep mule track up to the Feerberg forest clearing. If you start further up between gallery and bridge at about 1260m (parking available), the first ascent over Schilt is more comfortable and reaches the mule track at about 1340m. Through the forest clearing you ascend the broad ridge, passing a small chapel at 1560m. You can then pull up the open terrain via Mittluhuis to Alphittä at 1880m and on to Furggu or follow the old mule track to Furggu (pass). Continue south through the very sparse Furggu forest to the former military huts at P. 1962. In a westerly direction you proceed further into the notch between Guggiligrat and Tschuggmatthorn and further up to the nearby summit.
